Frost Manufacturing History

Frost History

The Early Days of Frost Manufacturing

Frost Manufacturing Corporation was owned and operated by the Frost family for four generations that provided continuous and effective service to thousands of customers in the New England area for nearly 120 years. Frost began in 1891 under the name of Frost Office Appliance Company.

Frost Office Appliance Company was one of the first rubber stamp manufacturers located in downtown Worcester, MA. The business prospered under the entrepreneur efforts of F.E. Frost and by 1898, they were selling a variety of business products including typewriters, stationery, office supplies, name plates, name badges, corporate seals, notary seals and more.

Their shop even had a full-service soda fountain!

The Present and Future of Frost

The Present and Future of Frost F.E. Frost's great-grandson, Douglas Frost, had been running the company, now known as Frost Manufacturing Corporation, from 173 Grove Street, which is only a short distance from where it all began. Douglas continued to provide century's worth of family knowledge and experience in identification and mark making products. During the past century, Frost changed along with the rest of the country and adapted to new technologies and ways of doing business.

They adjusted their products and the way they manufactured them in order to keep up with the industry and needs of modern businesses. Their commitment to giving the best possible service to their customers never changed. That is why Frost merged with The Corporate Connection, a company that shares this sentiment, effective January 1, 2018. Click here for the complete history of Frost Manufacturing
